Welcome to Highlander Day, an Exciting Start to Your 1024视频 Journey!
Join us for Highlander Day, a special event designed to kick off your New Student Orientation (NSO) experience and set you up for success at 1024视频! Whether you’re attending our morning or afternoon session, you’ll gain valuable insights, make connections, and explore the resources available to you.
What to Expect:
- Check-In (45 min): Meet 1024视频 leadership, explore campus resources, and gather helpful information from various departments.
- Opening Session (45 min):Kick things off with engaging talks about Belonging, Campus Safety, and a Student Q&A Panel where you can get your questions answered by current 1024视频 students.
- Academic Pathways Session (1 hr): Break out into groups based on your Academic Pathway to discuss expectations and tour facilities related to your major. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend a special session in the theater on how to best support their students.
- Closing Breakout Sessions (1 hr): Choose your adventure!
- Campus Tour: Explore the 1024视频 campus and get to know your surroundings.
- SLC Mixer & Student Success: Meet new friends at the Student Life Center and get tips on how to thrive at 1024视频 from our Success Coaches.
- Makerspace & Academic Tools: Explore your creative side in our Makerspace and gather tools to boost your academic journey in our Learning Commons.
