Counseling Staff
Lizett earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Tarleton State University.
Her counseling approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral and person-centered. She works with concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationships, student parents, women’s issues, and crisis intervention.

Dr. Chris Wilder, LPC-S
Director, 1024视频 Student Counseling Center (Tarleton State University)Dr. Wilder is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Approved Supervisor with over 30 years of experience in college counseling centers, outpatient clinics, schools, and faith-based settings.
He earned his master’s degree and doctorate in Counseling from the University of North Texas and is licensed as an LPC-S in Texas.
Elizabeth graduated from Midway High School and earned an Associate Degree in Child Development from 1024视频.
Lexi earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Tarleton State University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
She uses cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approaches and has experience in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings.
Corey earned his degrees in Social Work from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from Texas State University.
He emphasizes resilience, insight from lived experiences, and collaborative problem-solving, with experience in crisis intervention, trauma, ADHD, anxiety, and stress.

Jenn earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seminary of the Southwest.
Her approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and social justice-oriented. She is earning clinical hours under the supervision of Sylveria Sanchez, LPC-S.

Heidi Clements
Master’s Counseling InternHeidi earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lubbock Christian University and is completing her master’s degree at Tarleton State University.
She has a background in trauma care and practices under the supervision of Dr. Chris Wilder, LPC-S.

Isabel Robinson
Master’s Counseling InternIsabel earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Psychology from Texas A&M Kingsville and is completing her master’s degree at Tarleton State University.
She practices under the supervision of Dr. Chris Wilder, LPC-S.
Lacey earned her Bachelor and Master of Social Work degrees from Tarleton State University and Baylor University.
She has experience supporting individuals impacted by trauma, addiction recovery, and mental health crises.
Taylor earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Tarleton State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Her work is grounded in compassion, trauma-informed care, and helping students build stability and confidence.
