The program emphasizes ethical practices and adherence to federal, state, and local auction laws. Approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), this academy provides the foundational knowledge and practical experience required for success in the auctioneering industry.

Texas Auctioneer License Requirements
To obtain an auctioneer's license in Texas, candidates must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
- Hold a high school diploma or GED
- Have no felony convictions within the past five years
- Complete at least 80 hours of classroom instruction at an approved auction school
- Individuals with a criminal history should complete a TDLR Criminal History Evaluation to obtain a Determination of Eligibility
